Videocon has unveiled a new slate, the VT79C. It is listed in the company website without price tag and its availability details.
According to the official website listing, the Videocon VT79C features a 7-inch Multi Point (1024*600 pixels) Capacitive Touch Screen display and runs Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS out of the box. The handset measures 189.4*109.2*11.5 mm, but no word about its weight, and will be available in white colour only.
The VT79C is backed by a 3000mAh Li-polymer battery and houses a 2-megapixel rear camera, alongside a VGA front-facing camera onboard. It comes with 4 GB of internal storage that can be expanded with up to 32 GB of microSD card. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor, and coupled with 512 MB of RAM.
In terms of connectivity options, the Videocon VT79C include 3G, Bluetooth V 2.1, Micro USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Single SIM and 3.5 mm ear-jack. It also supports G-sensor. The device comes with preloaded apps Hungama, Gameloft Games (Try & Buy), V-Secure, Opera Mini and V-Safe.
The VT79C also supports Mouse, Keyboard, Pendrive upto 32GB, Full HD Videos and Video Calling through App.

Recently, Videocon has launched Infinium Z50 Quad with a price of INR 7349. It comes with 5-inch qHD IPS display, Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS, 5-megapixel rear facing camera, 2 MP front-facing camera, 1900mAh battery, 8GB ROM, 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor and 1GB RAM.
