Huawei E372 Modem comes with customized firmware, and it cannot be unlocked with the help of only unlocks codes. It needs to flash the modem before unlocking it.
Step by step guide to unlocking Huawei E372 Modem via firmware upgrade:
- Download all software required to unlock your modem, including firmware update of Huawei E372 Modem (Download link is provided at the end of the article).
- Now disconnect the internet and close the dashboard if already running.
- Now note down the IMEI of your Huawei E372 Modem.
- Now run universal master code software and generate unlock code and flash code of your IMEI through Huawei tab.
- Now run firmware upgrade and when modem asks for a password, then provide the flash code as the password.
- Now, wait till the finish.
- Now run the dashboard update and wait till it finishes.
- Now close the running dashboard and run the clock unlock tool.
- Now put 8 digit unlock code in the software and click on OK.
- Now your modem is unlocked forever for any other network provider SIM.
Note: If your Huawei E372 Modem is of new algo, don’t use any unlock code; otherwise, your Huawei E372 Modem will be locked permanently.
