Swipe has launched a new tablet, the Swipe Ultimate. The first Windows 8.1 based slate has been priced by the company at Rs 19999. It comes in Black color and will be exclusively available through e-commerce online website Flipkart.
According to the company official listing, the Swipe Ultimate comes with free Microsoft Office 365 subscription for one year, but it does not have any SIM slot. To use the internet in the Swipe Ultimate tablet, you need a third party dongle or you have to depend upon WiFi. The slate can connect up to 1TB hard disks via its USB slot.
The Ultimate has 32GB of built-in storage and also runs Windows 8.1 OS. The device whole dimensions are 256.4 x 171 x 9.5 mm, with a weight of 580 gms. Connectivity options includes 3G (via modem), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI and microUSB. Under the hood, there is an 8000mAh battery fitted, which is according to the company can provide 150 hrs of standby time.
The Swipe Ultimate sports a 10.1-inch LED IPS (1280×800 pixels resolution) touch screen display with with Zero Air Gap touch and 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz quad-core (Intel Atom) processor, and coupled with 2GB of RAM. It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. The tablet comes with a magnetic keyboard that has a touchpad, so you can use it as laptop.
