The Intex Aqua Power comes with a powerful 4,000mAh battery, which will be charged completely within 2.5 hours, and can double up as a power bank to charge other USB-powered devices. It is rated for up to 18 hours 3G and 30 hours of 2G talk time, and also 600 hours standby time.
With the purchase of Intex Aqua Power, the company is also offering a free screen replacement for one year. The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS HD touchscreen display and powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor with MediaTek MT6592M chipset, alongside 1GB of RAM. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS is also upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
The Intex Aqua Power has 8GB built-in storage which is further expandable with up to 32GB of memory card. It houses an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, and 2MP front camera for selfies. Connectivity options include the phone dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM), 3G, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3.5mm sound-jack and GPS.
The Intex Aqua Power also comes with a pedometer function, measuring steps walked and calories burnt.
Intex Aqua V4 is also available in India with dual SIM support for Rs 2699. It comes with 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen display and 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7715 processor.
