Lava has joined the Microsoft Windows Phone with the launch of its latest Iris Win1. It can be purchased in India with a price Rs4,999.

According to the company, the Lava Iris Win1 will be exclusively available via Flipkart starting Thursday, and will be bundled with a free flip cover and a screen guard. Celkon has also launched a windows phone, dubbed as Win 400, with a price Rs. 4999.

The Iris Win1 is the first dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) handset which will be running on Windows Phone 8.1 OS. It features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) IPS touchscreen display; supported by accelerometer, proximity and ambient light sensors.

The Lava Iris Win1 is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, alongside 1GB of RAM. It houses a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and BSI+ sensor, while it also boasts a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The 8GB of internal storage is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The Iris Win1 packs a 1950mAh battery, but no word about talk time and standby time. In terms of connectivity options, it includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm sound-jack and Micro-USB.

It has 5-Inches IPS capacitive display, 854 x 480 pixels resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual LED flash,  5-megapixels front-facing shooter, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, MTK 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
