The Lava International unveils a new smartphone, called it Lava Iris Selfie 50. It has a 5-megapixels front camera and is available in India for Rs 7499.
Sporting a 5-Inches IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and Full Lamination, the Lava Iris Selfie 50 houses an 8-megapixels rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and also a 5-megapixels front-facing shooter for better selfies. The handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
The Iris 50 is backed by a MTK 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, along with 1GB of RAM. It also comes with 8 GB of internal storage, that is further expandable up to 32GB using an external micro-SD card. It has Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient Light sensors.
Connectivity options included by the Lava Iris Selfie 50 are 3G, Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM), GPRS / EDGE, Wi-Fi, WiFi direct, hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0, GPS /A-GPS, Micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 144.5×71.2×9.2 mm dimensions and backed by a 2400 mAh Li-polymer battery.
