IRU – a Russia based tablet company has launched, the P8901G. The company has not revealed the price and its availability details yet.
According to the press release made by company, the IRU P8901G comes with 8.9 inch Capacitive energy-saving matrix PLS display with a resolution of 1920 * 1200 pixels. The slate is covered with Gorilla Glass for extra protection from scratches and rubbing.
The P8901G is powered by a powerful 1.7GHz Octa-Ccore MediaTek 6592 processor and 2 GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of internal memory, but no word about expandable. The tab houses a 13 megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and flash, while there is also a 2 megapixel front camera onboard. Under the hood of the device there is a 7300mAh battery installed, that can provide up to 11 hours normal usage with the included Wi-Fi.
Connectivity options include in the IRU P8901G are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n, 2.4G and 5G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3.5mm ear jack. With a dimension of 230 * 146 * 8.8 mm, the handset weight is 425 gms.
