In a event in Bangalore, the Gionee has already announced about two 3G smartphones of Pioneer series, the P4S and the P6. According to the official announcement it will be reached in India early 2015, however, there is no word about its pricing.
The Gionee P4S supports dual SIM slot (WCMDA+GSM) and features dual standby functionality. It sports a 4.5-inch IPS TFT (480 x 854 pixels) display, powered by a MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The CPU is further coupled with Mali 400 Graphic core and clubbed with 1GB of RAM.
The P4S has 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable with via an external microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also packs a 2MP front-facing camera onboard. Connectivity options included in the P4S are 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, and 3.5 mm ear-jack.
The Gionee P4S is backed by a 1800 mAh Li-Po battery. It also supports proximity, G-sensor and Accelerometer.
