MTS data carrier use Huawei EC172 modem for providing the internet to his users. Huawei EC122 modems can be unlocked via firmware upgrade or you can say downgrade process. All of you just need to download the firmware (it can be downloaded from the link which is provided at the end of the article) for your modem and after updating the firmware your modem will be unlocked for other network.
Note : The process can dead your modem forever. Users need to do the step by step.
Step by step guide to unlock MTS Huawei EC122 modem free :
1. Disconnect The Internet Connection and Exit or close the Huawei Mobile Partner Software.
2. Now run the downloaded firmware EC122Update_11.104.04.01.656.B704 from the link which is provided at the end of the article.
3. Just accept the agreement and Click on ”Next” button.
4. Let the firmware to detect your connected modem.
5. After Detecting your modem, Press ”Next” button.
6. Continue till the setup finish.
After all the above steps get finished your modem will be unlocked forever. Now you can use any other network sim provider. Enjoy.
