Huawei has recently launched E3531 in various countries. Recently in Russia also Huawei has launched E3531 (MTS 423S) Russian Modem and comes with un-customized firmware and there is no need to change or flash the firmware of the modem. Recently, I had provided Unlocking solution of Huawei E3533 Modem and also provided the download link of latest Huawei Mobile partner 23.009.09.02.910 Free. Huawei E3531 (MTS 423S) Russian Modem comes with V3 unlock code and can not be unlocked with older unlock code generator tool.
How to Unlock Huawei E3531 (MTS 423S) Russian Modem :
- Download Huawei E3531 (MTS 423S) Russian Modem unlocking software from the download link which is provided at the end of the article.
- Now plug the modem to Windows PC using USB cable (For MAC Users , MAC version software is also available).
- Now let the modem install proper software and drivers to PC.
- After installing the software (Huawei mobile partner) to PC, disconnect the internet (if already connected) and close the default software of the modem (If you are using Huawei mobile partner software then close it)
- Now run the downloaded Huawei E3531 (MTS 423S) Russian Modem unlocking software.

Firmware upgrade is not recommended, it may dead your modem forever. Firmware version starts from 22 is for hilink modem, so be careful while updating the firmware in normal modem.
