Huawei has launched E173z-1 Modem in Egypt with the help of Mobinil network. There are two different types of firmwares are available. I am sharing the DC unlocker log of both modems :

As you can see in the above logs, Firmware version 21.157.71.00.135 has been compiled on Mar 2012 and the firmware version 21.157.71.00.272 has been updated in April 2012. Both version firmware Huawei E173z-1 modem comes with un-customized firmware and it can be unlocked with correct unlock code only.

- Just go at the end of the article and download the latest huawei mobile partner software and install it.
- Unplug your modem from your computer / laptop and change the default sim with any another network provider sim.
- Now Connect your Huawei E173z-1 Modem of Egypt Mobinil to your PC.
- Now dashboard will be opened automatically.
- Just close the default dashboard of your Huawei E173z-1 Modem of Egypt Mobinil and run the downloaded dashboard / connection manager.
