Last year Sony had launched a flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z Ultra. It was launched in India for Rs 45,000. But, now it is available with a price Rs 19990 only. It can be purchased from Amazon in black and white variant colours.
The new Sony Xperia Z Ultra runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, which can be upgraded to KitKat 4.4.2 immediately and further it will be upgraded up to Android 5.0 Lollipop, as the company has already announced. The phone is dust-proof and water resistant. It features a 6.4-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 Pixels resolution) TFT TRILUMINOUS display.
The Xperia Z Ultra is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad Core processor with 2GB of RAM. It supports single micro-SIM slot with 3G support. It houses an 8-megapixels rear facing camera with Auto Focus, Burst Mode, HDR for Pictures and Movies, Face Detection, Geo-tagging, Image Stabiliser, Object Tracking, Picture Effect, Quick Launch, Scene Recognition, Self-timer, Send to Web, Smile Shutter, Sony Exmor RS, Image Sensor, Superior Auto, Sweep Panorama, Touch Capture, Touch Focus and White Balance. It also comes with 2MP front-facing camera.
