Indian smartphone manufacturer, Micromax has launched a new slate, the Canvas Tab P666. It will be available in India at Rs 10999, from starting this week.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 comes powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It is further coupled with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB built-in storage, which is expandable using a microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Micromax Canvas Tab P666 sports an 8-inch WXGA (800*1280 pixels resolution) IPS touchscreen display. The tablet houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on-board for video calling and selfies. It packs a 4410mAh Li-pol battery under the hood.
In terms of connectivity options, the Canvas Tab P666 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and 3.5mm sound-jack. The handset also runs the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Micromax has recently launched Bolt AD4500 with a price Rs 5290. It comes with 1.3 GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB RAM, Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby, 4GB ROM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, VGA frontal camera and Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
