AOC – the Taiwanese displays maker may soon release a new smartphone in India, the M601. The phone is listed in the company website without price but full specifications.
The AOC M601 features a 6-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS Capacitive touch display and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz Dual Core (unknown chipset) processor and coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The device also houses an 5-megapixel rear facing camera with auto focus, alongside 0.3 MP front-facing camera.
The M601 comes with a single micro-SIM slot, includes connectivity options 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, micro-USB, FM Radio, Miracast and 3.5 mm sound jack. The phablet comes with 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. It comes with a normal size battery, 2,100 mAh Li-Polymer, which is rated for 12 hrs of talk-time and 2 hrs of video playback.
